“You keep running away from me” Skip Bayless calls out Draymond Green to settle beef ‘Man-to-Man’
Draymond Green, Skip Bayless
After making sure the Warriors forward is hot on the internet, Skip Bayless goes on the offensive on Draymond Green once more. Over the past few months, Green hasn’t been reluctant about publicizing his “new media” endeavor. In the process, he has often criticized representatives of traditional media for their allegedly obsolete habits. In light of this, the former Defensive Player of the Year winner has expressed his actual sentiments on veteran announcer Bayless pretty forcefully.
Skip is also not one to keep his opinions to himself, and the two have constantly exchanged insults on social media. Bayless seems to be getting bored of all the backtalk at this point. The 70-year-old has been tenacious in his pursuit to try to defeat Draymond Green face-to-face. But it appears that the Fox Sports expert could not have selected a finer invitational phrase as Green simply can’t stay away from drama. He is popular owing to ongoing rumors that the Golden State Warriors won’t offer him the maximum salary, which the four-time champion thinks is his due and which he wants for the upcoming season.
Draymond Green and his ideology of ‘new media’ and the ‘old media’.
In his most recent podcasts, Golden State Warriors player Draymond Green continued his assault against the “old media” by mentioning a few NBA analysts. Since launching The Draymond Green Show, he has established himself as the face of “new media” and is holding commentators accountable for their provocative opinions. The four-time NBA champion criticized Skip Bayless, Kendrick Perkins, Nick Wright, Bill Simmons, Brian Windhorst, and Cedric Maxwell for their lack of moral character in their on-air statements. Green advises against picking sides that will just lead to controversy and instead focuses on analyzing the basketball game.
He takes Bayless’s year-long LeBron James mockery as an illustration of how the “old media” seeks to degrade athletes. The Warriors’ big man claims he wouldn’t want to speak with Bayless on television about basketball because he knows it wouldn’t be a serious discussion. While this was going on, Green asserted that Bayless lacked the authority to be on his programme. There seems to be ongoing enmity between Green’s “new media” and Bayless’s “old media.”
Skip Bayless and his newest challenge for Green.
Since the Warriors star brought up his “New Media” agenda and put it in Skip’s face more than anybody else, Green and Bayless have openly argued back and forth. The senior analyst was willing to appear as a guest on The Draymond Green Podcast on any given day and even invited the 2017 DPOY on his show. Green however, declined the offer, but it appears that his lack of respect wasn’t enough for him because he recently sent Draymond another another challenge through Twitter. In his most recent outburst, Skip accused the Warriors superstar of avoiding him and his repeated requests for a seat.
As soon as Green became popular on social media for a completely other topic, Skip spotted and seized the chance to criticize him once more. We would have to accept it as Bayless excels in this field. It would be fascinating to watch how these two compare perspectives on a very divisive topic as Draymond has recently gained popularity with his podcast.
