“He’s creeping into KD territory” Skip Bayless calls out LeBron James for recent ‘attention-seeking’ behavior
LeBron James is apparently sneaking into a “Kevin Durant-esque” territory. As tough as the season has been for the King who went a large amount of criticism for “his” off-season moves, he is known for turning a deaf ear to the outside noise and working on his next challenge. Would it be un-natural of him to jump onto the trend of podcasts?
Recently, Bron sent out a tweet saying,”Jumping on someone podcast soon. Maybe my own.” To see someone as experienced as him hop onto his own series of takes in a podcast would be interesting. Players often have a tendency to get candid on issues and stories that were or are circulating around them. Or could this be a way of James possibly firing back like KD?
Skip Bayless reacts to LeBron James’ cryptic tweet
Skip Bayless has not particularly been a true fan on LeBron James. The analyst takes every opportunity to take a jab at the former MVP and this might have been another reason to do so. “I thought it was the unfiltered pulpit that he could preach from,” said Skip. “My first reaction when I saw this last night was LeGone is feeling left out because he’s got some attention deficit disorder as in, ‘I need some attention right now.’”
“My second reaction was because you (Shannon Sharpe) always put LeBron in the same context as Michael Jeffery Jordan, this is so not Jordan… because he did not care what anybody said about him because they were irrelevant. He just went out and shut them up on the basketball court. So I agree with you, this is KD-esque. Because KD is the thinnest skinned superstar I’ve ever seen. He’s got burner accounts to defend himself, and LeBron is creeping into that territory.”
Los Angeles Lakers plan on hiring Rasheed Wallace alongside new head coach
LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers franchise having been making intense moves before their next attempt to win a title. Recently, they hired Darvin Ham as the head coach of the team. Ham is a former NBA champion who knows a thing or two about physical playing and playing aggressive. The Lakers plan on giving their new head coach all the freedom to build a group to help the franchise get back on top.
Recently, rumors of Darvin hiring defensive legend Rasheed Wallace as the assistant coach had sprung up. Ham opened up about the rumor saying, “In regards to Rasheed, that’s an active situation that’s fluid. We’re still working through that. That’s not true at all. He’s definitely a candidate that we’ll take a look at but we’re working through that. We have a list of names and some people that’s currently under contract. We’re working with some really talented, talented young coaches.”
