“Should’ve dedicated an entire offseason to practicing free throws” Skip Bayless gets at his most ruthless to call out LeBron James
LeBron James and Skip Bayless
NBA analyst Skip Bayless has always targeted NBA and Los Angeles Lakers legend LeBron James with criticism. Recently on his show ‘The Skip Bayless Show,’ a Fox Sports podcast, he was asked about the one question he would ask the LA Lakers star player. Skip answered this question in the show.
Skip Bayless said, “I would keep it simple. I would love to ask LeBron James, “LeBron why just once in your career didn’t you dedicate an entire off-season to improving your free throw shooting?” Frankie from Florida put forth this question. Skip had earlier mentioned that there are many questions that he would like to ask LeBron James, but he decided to keep all those to himself and answered with a point of view of asking for the podcast’s sake.
Skip Bayless has often compared LeBron to NBA great Michael Jordan, saying James could never catch up to the legend. He has even spoken about Jordan’s perfect record in the NBA Finals, unlike LeBron’s multiple failed attempts in the Finals. When LeBron won the 2016 NBA Finals, beating the Golden State Warriors after coming back from a 3-1 disadvantage in the series, Bayless was ready with a comment on LeBron, saying, “Please don’t tell me LeBron James, great as he is, will ever even sniff the legacy of Michael Jordan.”

Skip Bayless is confident about Los Angeles Lakers this NBA season
Skip Bayless is known as a LeBron James hater. Still, recently he admitted that he is very optimistic about the Lakers’ chances for succeeding this season based on how they performed in their preseason game versus the Phoenix Suns. Skip said, “In L.A.’s second preseason game, Davis was out, and other key players saw limited action. The team lost 119-115, but it played well when its key players.”
He added, “The Lakers did enough in their second preseason game to impress sports analyst Skip Bayless. Bayless apparently came away from Wednesday’s game feeling like the Lakers could end up making some noise in the Western Conference.” Skip was very impressed with the Lakers’ show in the match.
