Stephen Curry has been an important part of the Golden State Warriors during their championship triumphs. But the previous ride in the postseason wasn’t as smooth as many would have expected as the Chef was without his splash brother. However, entering the 2021-22 season, Curry has bounced back from his respective injury and seems to be in fine form.

Although, even after a big Game 2 performance off the bench vs the Denver Nuggets, Skip Bayless highlighted the failure of Stephen Curry, from the past playoffs, in order to only demand more action from the 3-Point King.

“Stephen Curry needs to show me more as the games get bigger and bigger in the post-season. … after Steph and company failed so miserably in games 5, 6 and 7 of the 2016 finals, go look at Steph’s numbers, they were pathetic, they were egregious.”

Moreover, Bayless argued that the Warriors needed Kevin Durant in order to overcome LeBron James after the 2016 finals, stating, “Draymond goes crying into the parking lot after they blew the 3-1 lead and lost Game 7 at home, and the whole contingent boards a private plane and flies all the way across the country and they went there to recruit Kevin Durant, because they couldn’t defeat LeBron without KD.”

Having come off the bench in the first two playoff games against the Denver Nuggets, Stephen curry has simply been exceptional. Managing to known a combined total of more than 65 points, with Jordan Poole in Game 2, all eyes will be on fast Chef Curry recovers, in order to return at full strength.

Lastly, Stephen Curry has often been questioned in the past by Skip Bayless about his abilities to lead the franchise without Kevin Durant, deep into the playoffs. Not that, the 3-Point King has ever responded but he surely would be looking to answer all his critics as the Warriors picked up fine form in the 2021-22 season. Will we witness the greatness of Steph even in game 3? Or is Nikola Jokic coming to avenge the first two losses in Denver? Remains to be seen.
