“Enough bricks are being shot to build another new Golden State arena” Skip Bayless’ hilarious reaction to off-shooting performance for Warriors in Game 4

“Enough bricks are being shot to build another new Golden State arena” Skip Bayless’ hilarious reaction to off-shooting performance for Warriors in Game 4

We’ve seen a lot of insane games from the Splash Brothers, but Skip Bayless specially love those games when they transform to ‘Brick Brothers’. Golden State Warriors somehow outfoxed the Memphis Grizzlies by a hair’s breadth, winning Game 4 by 101-98 at the Chase Centre, taking a comfortable 3-1 lead of the series. Stephen Curry dropped 32 points in a game which saw both teams lay down more and more bricks, with a lackluster shooting performance.

Curry took charge and now his Warriors are one win from a trip to the Western Conference finals for the first time since 2019, as he scored 32 points and dished out 8 assists. Andrew Wiggins had 17 points and 10 rebounds and Thompson scored 14 points with Klay And Jordan Poole going 0-10 for 3 pointers, Curry making only 4-14 of his own. Tyus Jones had 19 points, six rebounds and five assists as Memphis missed injured All-Star Ja Morant.

“Some ugly offense, even the open shots didn’t really feel like they were in rhythm, but credit to our defense, honestly we were feeding off our home crowd, that kept us in it, Otto making big threes to start the fourth quarter, Klay made one in the corner, and JP got to the free throw line. That let us settle in, and the rest is history.”

Curry was hyped up by that game defining block by Draymond Green on Jaren Jackson Jr. in the dying moments of the game.

“We love this stage. What I can do offensively… what he does on defense – nobody can do that. And you can see how much it matters to get stops down the stretch… He took that challenge, got two amazing stops, so that’s what we’re about.”

The teams made history with one of the most abysmal shooting nights, Memphis shooting five for 25, while Golden State went four for 27 from beyond the arc. Skip Bayless is not one to miss a chance to troll players, as he took to Twitter suggesting the Warriors could build a new arena because of the ‘bricks’ the two teams shot on the night. He also took a dig at Steph, saying he is not a ‘special player’.

Both teams could manage only a shocking 9 three-pointers on a combined 72 attempts. The Warriors converted 40% of their shots from the floor, while the Grizzlies knocked down 41.7% of theirs.

The fans on Twitter showed the teams no mercy and make memes at the expense of their dismal shooting performance.
