Talking about people who witnessed the real happenings, who knows it better than the people who played in the Los Angeles Lakers themselves.

Kareem Abdul Jabbar initially made strong comments regarding the dishonesty of the show Winning Time, which was backed up by Magic Johnson, and now NBA Analyst Skip Bayless has joined the wagon of the people who have criticised the show. The show which is based on the Rise of Magic Johnson and the Lakers dynasty is a fictionalised depiction of the realities of the Los Angeles Lakers and has been referred to as utterly dishonest and lazy writing.

Johnson’s comments on the show

Skip said, “Good for Jerry West, finally demanding a retraction and apology for “Winning Time’s” absurdly inaccurate and vicious portrayal of him during his Showtime Laker days. I’m an Adam McKay fan, but the way the series has presented West is so wrong that I quit watching.” Which was in reaction to Jerry West demanding an apology and retraction for his fake depiction.

Preciously, Kareem had said that the show was deliberately dishonest and was a result of shallowness and lazy writing from the creators. Legend Earvin Magic Johnson also backed up the claims of Kareem on the show which was based on the former, and that showed in his answer to a question asked in an interview.
