If it wasn’t for LeBron James, sports media personality Skip Bayless would have had a tough time in order to make such a big name for himself. Having being known as the harshest critic of the Los Angeles Lakers star, the 70-year-old analyst has once again launches an attack on the 4xNBA Champion for missing the playoffs. 

With the semi-final series kicking off at Boston with Celtics locking horns against the Giannis Antetokounmpo led Bucks, Bayless decided to call out LeBron James for peacefully enjoying hi vacations as his companions battle it out in the playoffs. With the purple and gold army missed the playoffs after being a below-par squad throughout the 2021-22 regular season. With everyone catching up on the playoffs, Bayless seems to still drag the ghosts around LeBron for the same.

With injuries haunting the Lakers majorly in the 2021-22 season, LeBron and Anthony Davis were side-lined for decent weeks as their team struggled to secure wins against teams in the second half of the season. Moreover, plethora of the blame fell upon the shoulders of Russell Westbrook and former coach Frank Vogel as the 17 times NBA Champions endured one of their worst-ever campaign in modern-era.

Talking about Skip Bayless and LeBron James hate-relationship, the former’s criticism pointed at LeBron took center stage amidst Lebron’s playoff failure at the hands of Dirk Nowitzki’s Dallas Mavericks in 2011. The 27-year-old superstar has also acknowledged and addressed Skip’s criticism on multiple instances, making the dynamic spicier as the public is aware that Skip’s comments do reach where they were supposed to reach.

That being said, all eyes will now be on LeBron James, Lakers and how they are able to re-build the team before the start of the 2022-23 season. Having already learnt the lesson for equipping a star-studded team without much planning, the purple and gold army will be keen on building a strong and young side around Bron in order for them to contest for the championship next season? Who makes way and follows the footsteps of Vogel in the coming months? Remains to be seen.
