“LeBron is disengaged garbage” Skip Bayless makes his wildest claim against LeBron James after Lakers quit against Nuggets
LeBron James and Skip Bayless
NBA analyst Skip Bayless never leaves a chance to lash out at the LA Lakers great LeBron James. The Los Angeles Lakers have gotten off to a miserable start by losing all the games they have played until now. To everyone’s surprise, Skip made a wild claim by calling LeBron garbage after their loss to the Denver Nuggets.
Skip Bayless was talking on the show, ‘Undisputed’ when he quoted, “Your man (LeBron James), last night, was disengaged garbage and I don’t get it. I predicted that if Russ didn’t play, I thought it was a golden opportunity, even in a tough road game in Denver, to make a statement.” LeBron had eight turnovers in the LA Lakers’ 110-99 loss to the Nuggets.
Skip also tweeted, “What happened to LeBron last night? That’s not him. We’ve seen those LeBron vs. Father Time Nike ads. Man, Father Time kicked his tail last night.” The scenario hasn’t changed for the Lakers as their disastrous season continues. They are 0-for-4 now and its the second time in LeBron James’ career when he is 0-4. These aren’t good signs for a team looking for a turnover by making changes to their roster and appointing a new head coach in Darvin Ham.
LeBron James looks to step up after a heartening loss to the Denver Nuggets
NBA legend LeBron James has taken the onus on himself to set an example for the team by performing better than ever so that the Los Angeles Lakers overcome the four losses they suffered until now in the season. James finished with 19 points, seven rebounds, and nine assists. It seems to be a good statistic on paper, but he also ended up with eight turnovers, while the LA Lakers overall ended up with 14 turnovers in the game against the Denver Nuggets.
The Lakers could not keep up in the second half, being outscored 56-45 due to poor shooting and turnovers. And this is what James is looking to change to generate positive results. James analyzed his performance and said he wasn’t aggressive enough on many turnovers. He even made many passes to get his team players involved, but somehow it didn’t work well.
James even called his gameplay careless. It is a long season ahead, and LeBron does have much time to rectify and carry his team forward. But it is not only his responsibility to step up; others also need to develop themselves and improve or else the Lakers will fail again.
