It seems like Skip Bayless’ impression of his favorite player Kevin Durant has completely changed after the latter’s dreadful exit from the first-round series via the hands of Brooklyn Nets. On the latest episode of The Skip Bayless Show, the 70-year-old analyst made some interesting revelations about the former MVP, which seemed to have shocked plenty of fans. 

Bayless went one-step ahead to question the legacy of Kevin Durant after the most recent playoff clean sweep and even compared him to Michael Jordan. Safe to say, in the most derogatory way possible.

“Can you imagine any other superstar from Michael Jordan on down needing to hide behind a burner account?” Skip Bayless questioned Kevin Durant’s legendary status because KD has, in fact, made burner accounts on social media in the past. These accounts were to hide himself on the internet, so he could clap back at, primarily, sports journalists or even regular people who took to poor takes on KD and his peers in the league.

He continued, “Again, we’re talking about Kevin Durant, the thinnest skin superstar I have ever encountered or tried to figured out and it began to dawn on me that he was actually extremely oversensitive and underconfident.”

Plethora of analysts and former players have already started to question Kevin Durant’s move to the Brooklyn Nets. Should he have left the Golden State Warriors? Obviously, every major athlete feels the need to take up new challenges in his coming years. But now with KD not being able to deliver, will he be able to answer his critics in the 2022-23 season? Surely if not, the brutality of the consequences is going to beyond one’s imagination. 

That being said after the latest Bayless’ rant on Kevin Durant, will we witness KD once again shutting the sports media personality up. Or has Durant moved past the stage to focus on the next season, already? Remains to be seen.
