The defending championship, Milwaukee Bucks are massively depending upon their two-time MVP, Giannis Antetokounmpo for once again making a deep and significant run in the playoffs. Having to play against Chicago Bulls in the first-round, consisting of couple of All-Stars in the form DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine, the Bucks saw themselves being pulled one way and the other.
As a result of which, after four quarters, it was the Chicago Bulls who equalized the series at 1-1, urging Skip Bayless to question the dominance and hype of Giannis Antetokounmpo. Ahead of Game 3 where the action moves to a new court and city, Bayless suggested that the Milwaukee Bucks are in deep water and could surely be in even more trouble, if they solely depend upon Giannis Antetokounmpo. But does his opinion hold still in water?

Giannis Antetokounmpo has been averaging 30 points, 17 rebounds and 6 assists in this series against the Chicago Bulls. Given that the Bucks are defending their title, they were absolutely tormented by DeMar DeRozan in Game 2, who managed to score a staggering 41-point tally.
Discussing the same on Undisputed in the most recent episode, Bayless told Sharpe, “I think they are in huge trouble, because I don’t believe in Giannis the way you believe in him. If he were that dude, that guy, that life-changer, he would win these games by himself.”
The Greek freak has been exceptional in the 2021-22 season. While his form and consistency on the offensive board has been questioned by many. Yet he has been able to lead his team into the top ranks in the East.
Moreover, ahead of Game 3 action, Giannis and the Bucks have their work cut-out with Bobby Portis and Khris Middleton carrying respective injuries. While the form had a ‘bloody’ eye, Middleton could be suffering from a potential MCL injury. But he is set to go under MRI in the coming days.
That being said, the Milwaukee Bucks could be left short-handed in the coming games. So will Giannis Antetokounmpo be able to inspire them against the resilient Chicago Bulls in the coming games? Or will Bayless’ revelation upon Bucks come true? Remains to be seen.
