Unparallel love for Michael Jordan and his ventures is nothing new for sports media personality Skip Bayless. Having to evidently name Michael Jordan as the GOAT of NBA, Bayless leaves no opportunity to brag about his love for His Airness. But this time around all did not go as planned as he was mercilessly thrashed by NBA Fans for his obsessions.
No matter how Skip Bayless in condemned for his ‘outrageous’ takes on LeBron James and other young NBA stars, he surely has made a name for himself as one of the top NBA analysts in the country. While it is rare for anyone to notice Bayless appreciation for any other party, Jordan seems to be an exception. But has the ‘old-grumpy-grandpa’ gone too far?

At an age where most people are looking to retire and appropriately spend time with their grandkids, Skip Bayless is still going strong in his field and in some fine manner. Kudos to him for that. But apart from that, the man is a whiny man child who cannot stop kissing up Michael Jordan and putting down LeBron James. Someone who supports San Antonio Spurs should not be making atrocious takes, they have one of the mild-mannered teams.

Safe to say that if it was not for former NFL star Shannon Sharpe, Undisputed would have fallen flat on its back a long time ago. A LeBron worshipper vs a Jordan stan, what better TV? It is abundantly clear that Skip would melt into the asphalt the day MJ acknowledges his existence. However, it does seem like his ever-so-growing obsession with MJ comes at a high cost.
Perhaps with modern-day NBA analysts coming quickly up the stage, be it JJ Redick, or Patrick Beverley or even CJ McCollum, Bayless surely looks to be having a hard-time getting into the good books of fans. Will he be needing to change his approach? Time should unravel the gimmicky strategy of one of NBA’s most unique personalities.
