The Los Angeles Lakers suffered yet another defeat at the hand of the Denver Nuggets, extending their deficit to 2-0. The 5-point margin, 108-103 loss in Game 2 brought about several moments of high intensity and highlights. Be it D’Angelo Russell’s Flagrant 1 against Jamal Murray, LeBron Jamesshooting, or something completely different… the King’s flopping skills.

You heard that right, the basketball “GOAT” LeBron James has now resorted to flopping against the Denver Nuggets. After nothing worked out for the King in Game 1, where he blamed the remainder of his team, by the way, he found something new. In the 4th quarter of the game, with right over 10 minutes left on the clock, something strange happened. Bruce Brown Jr. passed the ball to Nikola Jokic, who was immediately faced by James. The duo struggled for the ball with Jokic slightly pushing James. James took a dive and was thrown “miles” away as the referees called a foul on Jokic.

James’ antics weren’t left scot-free, and he was almost immediately called out on social media platforms. One of the bandwagon criticizers was the San Antonio Spurs’ Jeremy Sochan. Jeremy wasted no time, and tweeted out, “Why does ‘King’ James flop so much?” directly attacking the Lakers star.

Lakers fans weren’t really fond of Sochan, pointing out the truth, as they unleashed harsh comments on the player. But Sochan really pointed out what other people wanted. Even if it was necessary for James to flop, it didn’t really yield any good results. The Lakers still lost, as they now stand 0-2 against their rivals.

The Los Angeles Lakers are going to have a tough time coming back from this loss, which has now extended their deficit to 0-2. The Western Conference Final hasn’t really treated the “King” well so far. James, who complained about a lack of effort from his teammates in the previous game now has nothing to complain about. All the excuses now lie scattered on the floor, just like James after a light struggle with Jokic.

James at this point is being called “washed” as the King isn’t even backed up by stats anymore. LeBron James is 0% from 3s in the Western Conference so far! He attempted 6 in Game 2 today, going 0-6. Alongside this, James also missed his highlight, a wide-open dunk, which definitely surprised fans.

Is James finally getting old?’ is a question several fans ask upon seeing their King missing multiple free throws and taking a really long time to tie his shoelaces. It’ll be interesting to see how and if the Lakers plan on coming back from two straight losses against the Nuggets.
