Golden State Warriors 2024 season in a nutshell has been disastrous and shocking, something no one expected – not even the rival fans. With an out-of-form Klay Thompson to Draymond Green’s own saga with regard to suspensions, it has already been a season to forget for the Bayside team and fanbase. And amongst the disappointing hours, their talisman Stephen Curry has finally broken the silence of the matter, giving an honest assessment of their “average” Warriors side.

Steph Curry said in an interview with SportsCenter, addressing the issues and how they are still capable of turning things around:

I know we’re capable of it, sometimes you have to be real with yourself that where we are is not good enough even though it’s better than where we were a month ago.

Currently 10th in the Western Conference with a record of 27 wins and 27 losses, it has been a rollercoaster of a ride for the Golden State Warriors fans, who even they can’t even believe how their team has performed this season. With out-of-form players to players getting suspended, the team has found themselves in a very difficult position into the 2024 season. But if there is one player who can keep his head high and has also addressed regards to their disappointing form, it is none other than Stephen Curry.

Amongst all the headaches, it’s their coach Steve Kerr who has found it near-possible to pull the strings given the mess inside the squad. Even though their most consistent and reliable player is Stephen Curry, he has been asked on many occasions to carry the team; which just shows the inconsistency in this side.

Steph Curry and Warriors chase for the playoffs

It has been a good break for the Golden State Warriors and their fans, with Stephen Curry in that competitive 3-point match-up against Sabrina Ionescu and that All-Star game. But now they have a huge responsibility and target – the playoffs.

Currently, with a record of 27-26 and 10th in the Conference, they have a huge game in hand as they host the 2024 Inaugural In-Season tournament winners. With 6 wins and 1 loss from their last 7 games, they have picked up their form over time, and with the return of Draymond Green in defense with Stephen Curry leading the charges, a turn of events could possibly happen. But with Utah Jazz and Huston Rockets just below them and a chance to overtake the Warriors, this second of the season has been more than vital for the team from Bayside.

And whether the magic will work for them or not, there is certainly a chance in their hands and an opportunity to make over to this dreadful season.
