Steph Curry is no stranger to hitting clutch shots on the basketball court, but he also has some skills on the golf course. The Warriors star stunned the crowd at the American Century Championship celebrity tournament when he nailed a 152-yard hole-in-one on the seventh hole at Edgewood Tahoe. The shot was so impressive that it sent Twitter into a frenzy, with fans and fellow athletes praising Curry’s golf game.
Curry celebrated his amazing feat by throwing his hat in the air and running around with his arms raised, creating a memorable moment for everyone who witnessed it. The star point guard, from the tee, confidently struck a pitching wedge, and his ball gracefully landed a mere few feet away from the hole. With a single bounce, it found its way into the cup, resulting in an impressive hole-in-one.
“That was wild,” Curry said. “It was good contact, right at the stick, but even if you’re painting the flag and it looks good, you never really expect it to go in. I just saw a bunch of hands go up, and then you just kind of blackout.”
This was the second hole-in-one for Curry and the fifth ever in the tournament. Curry took to social media to post a video of the shot and a snapshot featuring his glove, scorecard, and ball. Alongside the images, he added the caption, “Shooters Shoot!!! Hole In One vibes out here in Lake Tahoe. That’s ✌️.”
