“That’s the definition of insanity, right?” Steph Curry urges Warriors to trade ahead of winter deadline after devastating loss against Pelicans

It hasn’t been the best start of the 2023 season for the Golden State Warriors and their talisman Stephen Curry knows it. With strings of losses to off-court shenanigans, it has been a heck of a year for the boys in yellow. And with their latest loss against the New York Pelicans, it was Curry who took to the post-match interview, mentioning a few daunting words about the steps the team would take with the trade season on.

After a horrible 141-105 loss against the Pelicans at the Chase Center, the Warriors have extended their bad form as they have already reached 20 defeats this season. So much so, that the hierarchy of the the Golden State Warriors could be doing business in the trade. That’s what Stephen Curry hinted as well:

Some changes have to be made on the Bayside. With a horrific start to the season, it’s no surprise they have made the headlines after every game. With out of from star players to the unlucky suspension, it has been a rollercoaster of a year for the Warriors. And with the trade season still open, everyone will expect some changes made within the team.

Their recent business before the season, especially with the stand-out one – the Chris Paul trade, hasn’t been the most fruitful. With an injury-prone veteran expected to make the difference, serious questions have been asked. And same goes for Draymond Green, who has been a hindrance to the team lately. It would be an interesting look for the Warriors entering the 2nd half of the season, and what approach they would end up with.

The Golden State Warriors’ recent loss against the New York Pelicans means they are now placed 12th in the Western Conference table with 20 losses already. And while their point guard, Stephen Curry took the postgame interview after the loss, fans gave their side of the story with respect to their struggles.
