The Golden State Warriors are inching towards their fourth title with the terrific trio. The team has taken two games in a row now and both times they force the Boston Celtics to cave into their worst issue. Turnovers has been a major problem on the Celtics roster during the post-season and unfortunately their top two players have been leading the team in that category.
Games 4 and 5 were no different from each other as the Boston Celtics had a combined of 34 turnovers. In fact, all three games that the Dubs have won has solely been because of their opponents turning over the ball at a high rate or else in other situations the matchups are tight. Game 6 could potentially be the night that the Warriors are crowned champions once again.
Stephen Curry reveals secret that could help Warriors lift their fourth title
Stephen Curry is the clear winner of the Finals MVP award this season after his spectacular performances. The player exploded for 43 points in Game 4 but broke down in the following game shooting 0-9 from beyond the arc dismissing his 223 game streak with at least one 3pt-field goal. “The fact that we have an opportunity to win one more game and accomplish the task, it’s exciting. We now it’s not gonna be easy.”
“We know that that building is a different environment. We had a great win in Game 4, had some solid moments in Game 3 but couldn’t get it done. So we understand what we need to do. It’s just about going out and executing, bottling up your emotions knowing how hard a close-out game is… a lot of guys in our locker room have been here before. But we just gotta go do it,” said Curry.
Stephen A. Smith makes a slight change in his prediction
Stephen A. Smith had the Golden State Warriors winning since the start of the title debates. The dubs are currently on pace to winning the entire series and Smith claims that it might happen in Game 6. “I’m having a change of heart. I had the Warriors winning in seven from the start. I haven’t made my decision yet, they might end this tomorrow night.”
“Let me tell you why. I think they smell blood. I think that Steph Curry… I have a very hard time imagining he’s going to even come close to duplicating his performance from Game 5. I think he’s going to come there in Boston and play lights out. I don’t expect Klay Thompson to disappear. I don’t think there’s going to be a blowout. I’m almost willing to tell you it has to be a blowout for Boston in order to win this game,” he said.
