‘Confident’ Stephen A. Smith claims the Celtics will win the NBA title: “I believe in Jayson Tatum’s greatness”
Stephen A. Smith did not hesitate to put his trust in Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown to win it all the way.
The Boston Celtics are rolling with the best record in the league as they become the favorites to win the championship. Led by Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, the Celtics are the top title contenders and have the best odds to win the title this year.
Fans as well as critics have the highest expectations from this squad, expecting nothing less than a chip.
Joining the list recently is none other than the popular television personality and sports journalist Stephen A. Smith himself. He has all his faith in the Celtics to win it all the way. Boston has a pretty deep roster, great assets, and a very reliable bench. Guys like Derrick White and Payton Pritchard have been greatly contributing to the squad too.
I believe in Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown... I believe that Jayson Tatum is a superstar in this league who has struggled in moments, but I also have have big moments in big moments. I've seen him show up on the road in Milwaukee in a game six and drop 46...Said Stephen A.
With that being said, there is no denying that Tatum and Brown are having a very productive year this season.
And I've also seen him not play so well in big moments. I just believe in him and I have no doubt that Jaylen Brown is gonna show up especially after the way he struggled last year to close out the season.Continuing further, he added
However, this time, the squad has Kristaps Porzingis, Derrick White, and Jrue Holiday, who are reliable on both ends of the floor. Nevertheless, all eyes are on Tatum and Brown to close out the season.
Jayson Tatum and the Celtics can finally win it all
Boston has had a few rough seasons, struggling in the postseason. The Celtics have played five of the last seven Conference Finals, only seeing the fourth round once. With a dynamic duo, the Celtics have dominated this season. The squad is on track to match the 2022 Suns’ regular season record, as they stand atop a 51-14 record with 17 more games to go.
Tatum is averaging 27 points, 4.9 assists, and 8.4 rebounds while shooting 47.3% from the field. Brown, on the other hand, is having the most consistent season of his career. Shooting over 50% from the field, Brown has managed to maintain his consistency throughout the game as well as in the clutch.
Teams like the Milwaukee Bucks and the Cavs would be some challenges to face for Boston in the postseason. But the way they are playing currently, the Celtics shouldn’t have much trouble facing either squad.
