Kevin Durant has never been one to hold back when it comes to expressing his thoughts on anything basketball-related, and he shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. Stephen A Smith recently appeared on First Take and had a divisive view about Michael Jordan’s play style and Curry’s selflessness in which he added :“Michael Jordan is responsible, as much as anybody, for changing the game for the worse!”. We all know Stephen A. Smith’s job is to sometimes make absurd comments, even if he does make some decent ones. He couldn’t help but mention Michael Jordan while discussing Curry’s supremacy in the NBA, and how he changed the game by making it less team-centric and more about individual attributes.

Disappointing season with the Nets.

The Boston Celtics swept the Brooklyn Nets out of the first round of the NBA playoffs as Kevin Durant and his teammates simply weren’t up to the task. Their defense let them down time after time, while their offence battled to keep up. Overall, it was a bad series for the Nets. Kevin Durant would have been in the MVP conversation if not for a terrifying mid-season MCL sprain, and the Nets would have had a far easier playoff route than a first-round showdown with the Boston Celtics.

Kevin Durant hits back at NBA ‘analysts.’

With Kevin Durant actively engaged in social media, it is understandable that he would have a problem with folks who have never played competitive basketball expressing judgement on them. When it comes to Stephen A Smith’s abovementioned viewpoint, KD proceeded into Twitter to declare that people like Skip Bayless, Shannon Sharpe, and SAS have destroyed basketball. Durant has previously criticized Smith, and the two have a back-and-forth relationship, but this statement topped for Durant. He stated what Smith said was ridiculous, and it’s bad for the game of basketball when icons and their contributions are questioned like this.

Smith was evidently offended by these comments, and he responded with a comeback for KD. He stated that the media will never go away, and that no matter how hard he tries, individuals like himself and Skip Bayless will always be available to provide their opinions on all things related to sports.
