“Have you lost your ever-loving mind?” Stephen A. Smith lashes out at JJ Redick for his horrible take on Golden State Warriors
As far as the playoffs go, the Golden State Warriors are most likely the winners of this year’s championship. The team had one of the biggest bouncebacks in recent history after enduring major roster changes alongside their injured veteran players. As it seems, they are currently well above their current opponents in the Western Conference Finals.
Although their core trio has been starting together in every game since the beginning of the post-season, they are not the only reasons why the Warriors have such a powerful roster. As you may have seen, Jordan Poole has been a very efficient player this season earning the right of being compared to his legendary teammate Stephen Curry. He averaged 18.5 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 4 assists shooting close to 3 three-pointers per game.
Golden State Warriors take the lead in the WCF versus Dallas Mavericks
The Golden State Warriors took three early victories coming into this series making the Dallas Mavericks’ chances much slimmer as no team has ever bounced back from a 3-0 deficit. Their offense played a huge reason why they have been dominant. Kevon Looney was the star of Game 2 after recording 21 points and 12 rebounds which was important to elevate his team. He is currently averaging 10.5 points and 8.7 rebounds against the Mavs.

Andrew Wiggins turned out to be a great asset for the Warriors contributing fairly on both ends of the floor. Besides Curry and Klay Thompson, his offensive skills backed by the tight defense had been an integral part of their success in the playoffs. He has been averaging 18.7 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 3 assists during the series. It is very apparent that the Warriors heavily rely on their young players despite all capabilities of their veteran trio.
Stephen A Smiths defends the Warriors after JJ Reddick picks Boston Celtics as favorites
JJ Reddick has been very active on sports television lately being away from the NBA. The veteran currently contributes his time to ESPN’s First Take alongside legendary analyst Stephen A Smith. On being asked who he thought have better chances of winning multiple championships in the near future, he chose Boston Celtics because of age, versatility, and existing playoff experience. This did not sit well with Smith as he lashed out at Reddick for his pick. He said, “I will remind you that you are sitting in that seat that comes with endless level of responsibility. Have you lost your ever loving mind?”
“… I see the emergence and the evolution of a Jordan Poole. And fanaticize about what (Jonathan Kaminga) is going to be at age 19, and (Moses) Moody is no scrub either. As much as I love the Boston Celtics, I’m not going to sit up here and say they have chances of multiple championships,” he further continued. Reddick would later point out the level of physicality the Celtics and Miami Heat bring to the table which will give the splash brothers a hard time on offense.
