Stephen A. Smith on Warriors
The Golden State Warriors have once again gotten themselves at the top after almost two long seasons of suffering. The last time they made the playoffs, the Warriors were struck with devastating injuries. Immediately following their title run in 2019, Stephen Curry also fell victim to a horrible hand injury that resulted in them becoming one of the worst teams in the league.

They are currently preparing to face the Boston Celtics in the NBA finals. Both teams have the best rated defensive efficiency and it could be one of the most intense match ups in recent history. Jayson Tatum has emerged as one of the toughest player to guard with much improvement on the offensive end of the floor. He helped lead the Celtics through the Eastern Conference Finals averaging 27 points per game along with 6.7 rebounds, and 5.9 assists.
Stephen Curry speaks about facing the Boston Celtics in the upcoming finals

Stephen Curry has been more than ready for the opportunity to walk on the court for the title. The player had one of his best seasons before going down with an injury he sustained in March, versus the Celtics. However, he spoke the potential outcome of the series with regards to Jayson Tatum and also Jaylen Brown.

He said, “Tatum is a dynamic scorer and he’s taken another step in terms of reading how certain defenses are going at him… Jaylen Brown has obviously shown his scoring ability and he can take over a game and dominate from start to finish.” Curry fully admitted that the upcoming bout will be a test for the Warriors to see how far they have come past the 2018-19 season.
Stephen A Smith still picks Golden State Warriors to win the championship

Stephen A Smith has been supporting the Golden State Warriors since the start of the season as they were anticipating the return of Klay Thompson. He was believed to help the team play through the dreadful rounds of the playoffs and he did not fail. Smith continues to support the team due to their veteran experience, defensive skill, and young emerging talent.
“The answer… I think the Golden State Warriors to should be the favorites. I recognize the fact that the Boston Celtics defense is elite, make no mistake about it. But I think because of their experience and sharpshooting ability, I think that’s what stands above the crowd,” said the analyst. The Warriors and Celtics are set to take on Game 1 on Tuesday, at the Chase Center.
