His significant contributions have rightfully positioned him in the industry’s Hall of Fame.

Reflecting on his choice, Smith said, “I would tell you this, the person that I would love to sit on a set with me or across from me any day of the week is Kevin Garnett. Cause he’s a real one. First of all, being real is one thing, but your ability to articulate your position with presence and force matters. Now we would have to talk to KG because FCC airwaves, this brother sometimes doesn’t pay attention to that but that’s the deal with him.”

The combination of Kevin Garnett and Stephen A. Smith would be quite a ride, as they’d bring brutally honest opinions and dive into controversies fearlessly. However, KG might need to watch his language, which could be a challenge. Even Smith joked about it, mentioning the FCC. While KG is part of a podcast with Paul Pierce on Showtime Basketball, the chance to join forces with the renowned host Stephen A. Smith might be enticing. And just in case, Smith has a backup plan ready.

In his conversation with Paul George and his team, Stephen A. Smith initially mentioned Charles Barkley before moving on to Kevin Garnett. While Smith leans towards the NBA champion, he holds deep respect for Charles Barkley, who continues to make waves in the media through his role as one of the hosts on “NBA on TNT.”

Smith acknowledged Barkley’s Hall of Fame status and recognized his stature as an all-time great in the game, stating, “The obvious answer would be Charles Barkley because of what we see him do. We see him on TNT for so long, we forget; the brother is a Hall of Famer and one of the all-time greats.”

Charles Barkley is undeniably one of the funniest guys in the league, loved for his hilarious duo with Shaquille O’Neal on the show. Fans would be thrilled to see him spar with Stephen A. Smith, especially since they already enjoy light-hearted banter. While having Smith, Kevin Garnett, and Barkley on a TV show might be tricky due to their different contracts, they could definitely connect via a podcast to give fans some fantastic content.
