“My Time in South Beach is officially OVER !” – Stephen A Smith loses hope for Jimmy Butler’s Heat

Stephen A. Smith

Stephen A Smith has never hesitated in being outspoken and honest, as he revealed today while talking about the bleak chances of Miami Heat , going into Game 6. . After pointing out what went wrong for the Heat in their 93-80 loss on Wednesday night, Stephen A slapped Miami with the bitter truth that the series is done and dusted

“I think this series is over, I don’t think there’s any way in hell that the Miami Heat go to Boston in Game 6, Friday night, and escape and force a Game 7. My time in South Beach, I sadly say to you, is officially over.” Smith said .

Butler has proven his worth as one of the top players in the modern NBA era and he’s done marvelous things for the Heat this season. Butler is 32 and in great physical condition, however the perfect combination of a championship winning team, like the Heat this year, comes once in a blue moon. The likelihood of Miami keeping its core around him for a long time, is very slim. The 6-time All-Star will be too old to be the leader of the team after another rebuild. Losing out on a Championship opportunity like this could be heartbreaking for Heat Fans and Jimmy Butler too.

The Heat had a difficult time firing up their shooting boots with Kyle Lowry and Max Strus even failing to score and combining for 0-of-15 from the field. Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo led the way, but their performance was not on point. Boston will look to close out the series in front of their home crowd in Game 6 on Friday night, while the Heat will look to bounce back, extend their season, and force a decisive Game 7.mith had a lot of regret in his statement not because the Heat are on the cusp of elimination, but simply because he will now be forced to leave South Beach, a place where he has enjoyed staying at this postseason.
