Ja Morant

Ever since his arrival in the NBA, Ja Morant has been one of the most talent, looked-after scorers. But since the beginning of the 2021-22 season, this 22-year-old has taken over the league with a thunder storm. The most recent to justify this claim, is Morant’s 47-point explosion against the resilient Golden State warriors. Which left Stephen A. Smith in awe of his scoring prowess.

Ja Morant’s 47-pint explosion helped the Memphis Grizzlies to edge past Warriors in Game 2 of their semi-final series. Stephen A. Smith while discussing the same on the latest episode of First Take stated how the former can go onto become the face of the league and terrorize oppositions to come in the coming years.

While discussing the Game 2 battle between Warriors vs Grizzlies, Smith mentioned Ja Morant and stated, “Ja Morant is not just good, he’s great and spectacular. Guys like Tim Duncan and Kawhi Leonard are superstars but not box-office. Ja Morant is the kind of guy you want to see not just because of his spectacular plays but because he embraces the moment.”

He added, “Ja Morant talks the talks and goes out there and says ‘Give me the damn ball’’.

That being said, even LeBron James went onto embrace and applaud the hard-fought effort of Ja Morant, who surely left no stone unturned in bringing his team back into the semi-final series against Golden State Warriors.

Now with the series moving to away backyard, Ja Morant would be without his support-man, Dillon Brooks and will be well aware upon the responsibility bundles upon his shoulders. If the Memphis Grizzlies want to cause the biggest surprise of the playoffs, they would want their marquee star to fire against all odds.
