There are no two-ways in stating that a huge part of contribution for where Golden State Warriors have reached in the 2021-22 season, goes to Jordan Poole. The young and charismatic stud of Dubs hasn’t only been visible on the offensive end but has shown his defensive prowess as well. In Game 2 of the NBA Finals vs Boston Celtics, he perhaps showed just how valuable he is to his team.

With the Golden State Warriors already having a 20-point lead approaching the fourth quarter, it seemed like time is against them to take the final shot but Jordan Poole thought otherwise. Who wanted to just step into the other half to knock one of the most resounding buzzer beaters of all-time. Safe to say, it did manage to impress the 3-Point King as well as he could not stop blushing. Take a look at the video below-

Not only Curry, but Poole’s sensational shot from downtown managed to make Andrew Wiggins so damn confused that it seemed like he did not know where he was until he sat on the bench.

Apart from Jordan Poole’s heroic half court buzzer beater, he made a valuable contribution for his team as well. He managed to register 17 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists against his name. While Klay Thompson and Andrew Wiggins were not at their best with both having 11 points each, Poole’s support to Curry was ever so important as the Warriors equalized the Final series 1-1.

On the other hand, the Boston Celtics only found Jayson Tatum finding his rhythm in Game 2 as he managed to score team-high 28 points. Apart from Jaylen Brown (17 points) and Derrick White (12 points) no other Celtics player managed to score in double digits. Was it because of the highly aggressive play by the home players?
