While there has been no other veteran who was able to lead his team better than Stephen Curry in the recently concluded 2021-22 season, his scoring prowess saw him secure his career’s first ever Finals MVP accolade. Being as chirpy as ever, it seemed like the 3-Point King was in the ‘perfect’ mood whilst his appearances in American Century Championship, the same cannot be said for his most recent Premier look.

To those who are not aware, Stephen Curry along with wife Ayesha appeared for the Premier of ‘Nope’, wherein his unique dressing style did not sit well with the NBA fans. As a result of which, he was extensively trolled. Interestingly, Steph is regarded as one of the stylist modern-day players with majority of his 2022 pre-game outfits promote underrepresented Black fashion designers.

The thing with fashion is that it’s never a sure thing. After so many hit fits in a row, I guess Stephen Curry’s stylist failed today at the LA premiere of the movie ‘Nope’. Players in the NBA have eyes upon them at almost all given times. Unlike old times, NBA players are currently as much a celebrity as your movie stars or pop artists.

While this could be considered as a momentary lapse by the 3-Point King, he surely wouldn’t mind answering back to these trolls in his next public appearance. Known for his sensible fashion sense, hopefully Stephen Curry sees the funny side of these trolls. 

Apart from this, the 3-Point King will be looking to make his way into the 2022-23 with full venom and more importantly the same energy with which they clinched the championship trophy. Having to defend their title with fully-healthy Klay Thompson, the Dubs have some important small pieces missing from their roster already, will it make a significant difference? Remains to be seen as the trade saga continues for now.
