Many Golden State Warriors Fans might’ve turned off their TV’s at halftime as the Warriors had a 14-point deficit to take care of against this resilient Dallas defense. Luka Doncic was a beast on the court as he dropped 42 points and the Mavericks led most of the way before Golden State grabbed its first lead of the night on Otto Porter Jr.‘s 3-pointer 18 seconds into the final quarter. The Golden State Warriors hosted the Dallas Mavericks at Chase Center for Game 2 of the western conference finals. The game was closely contested and head to head and favored the Mavs to win it and even the series throughout the first half. But the Warriors took control over the game in the third and fourth quarters and won it all. They made a comeback of 19 plus points and it was Stephen Curry at the helm of it all. The loss has to be a deflating one for Dallas, especially after how well they played in the first half. Plus, no team wants to fall behind by two games in a playoff series. They’ll have to figure out a way to bounce back at home.
