Stephen Curry is potentially one of the reasons why Dell and Sonya are found at one place even after their separation. However, it was reported that the Golden State Warriors’ marquee player was disappointed and upset with father, Dell over publicly stating that Sonya had an extramarital affair. For those who are not aware, as per Dell, the extramarital relationship of Sonya has been with a former New England Patriots player, Steven Johnson.

To make matters worse, during Stephen Curry’s formidable run in the 2021-22 playoffs, both Dell and Sonya were spotted with separate partners. Astonishingly it was claimed that the spoken off ‘newbies’ were also a thing in the past. With Steph, Seth nor Sydel having to speak on the same matter, it seems like all 3 kids have had their relationship framed separately with both Sonya and Dell.

“Sonya began her extramarital affair with Mr. Johnson during the marriage and prior to the date of separation, and lied to Dell each time she cheated on him.” Stephen Curry, according to reports, was not pleased with his father in this matter as published by Sportsrush.

He’s disappointed that Dell would put all their family business out there and he doesn’t believe the accusations against his mother. Ayesha is really [disgusted] with Dell and how he’s handling the split,” wrote the MTO news insider.

With these reports claiming otherwise, Stephen Curry was quick to rush to his father when he broke the 3-Point record of all-time and even decided to hand over the ball to his father. Not only that, when the 3-Point King won the 2022 championship, his father was quick to run up to him whilst his son was in tears, sitting on the court. 

That being said, the situation in the Curry household would undoubtedly be awkward, after the unorthodox split of Dell and Sonya. But who is Stephen Curry close to? Perhaps he tells us sooner rather later.
