Steve Kerr hasn’t been the biggest fan of the rules that give offensive players more advantage over defensive players. He recently made sure that he was vocal about it.
The Golden State Warriors head coach took to the pre-game interview against the Toronto Raptors to address the issues in those aspects of the game. Steve Kerr feels certain things need to change in the NBA.
Steve Kerr while giving his thoughts on the rules that don’t do a favor to the defensive side of the game, said,
It just hurts with not enabling the offensive players and bailing them out for bulls--t stuff that they're doing. I think there needs to be a general rule, no bullsh** allowed.
Kerr would go on to make a comparison from his playing days and still believes all these rules were “done with good intentions” to match the growing modern game. But for HC, he feels the defenders are more isolated, left with a lesser room of options, and played with a disadvantage on their side.
