“No shame whatsoever” – Steve Kerr’s post-game ‘EXCUSE’ has NBA Twitter appalled
Steve Kerr has had enough of the referees.

The Golden State Warriors stumble again in the second round versus the Los Angeles Lakers. After a seven-game series against the Sacramento Kings, the Warriors are having a hard time versus the team out of the Play-In tournament. The Lakers have taken an asserting 3-1 over the Warriors following a Game 4 win at home. The Dubs continue to struggle on the road as, so far, they haven’t won an away game versus the Lakers.
The Warriors seemed to have things under control going into the fourth quarter. Though the Lakers responded back, having locked in on the defensive end of the floor. Stephen Curry did all he could, as the former Finals MVP posted a triple-double. Curry had 31 points, ten rebounds, and 14 assists for this game. However, the Lakers continued to dominate on the defensive end, combined with a balanced scoring attack from the players on the offensive end.
LeBron James and Anthony Davis both had yet another productive game. James led the team in scoring, scoring 27, whereas Davis had 23 for the night. Following a tough loss against the Lakers, Dubs’ head coach, Steve Kerr, had quite an unreasonable response to his team’s performance. Fans on Twitter held his words as an excuse.
Kerr accused the referees of calling fouls on flops. “I think we had three or four illegal screens called, and that was disappointing… I thought they took some flops and were rewarded. But I’ll have to see the replays. Maybe I’m wrong. Maybe those were all illegal screens, but it didn’t feel like it watching the game.”, said Kerr.
Looking at that stats, the Lakers had a total of 15 fouls to the Dubs’ 22. This isn’t the first time in this postseason that the Warriors have accused the referees for their calls. In the first round versus the Kings, the Dubs had accused the officials of not calling fouls in the paint.

Fans react to Steve Kerr’s comments, say he might have to look into the real problem
While Stephen Curry and Andrew Wiggins have taken the scoring for themselves, the other players haven’t been doing a great job. Jordan Poole had zero points for the night, playing 10 minutes. Klay Thompson, on the other hand, had nine points while shooting 27% from the field. It doesn’t seem that the Warriors have any problem with their usual game; instead, it’s the players who have been underperforming this postseason. Fans around the internet had a similar response to Kerr’s accusations.
The Warriors didn’t have a great regular season either. They finished 6th in the West after fighting in the final games of the season. They also seem to have a big man problem, as the Dubs have no solution to guarding Lakers’ center, Anthony Davis. Now down 1-3 in this series, it will be a tough job for the team to mount a comeback. The Lakers will look to end the series as they’ll head to the Bay area for Game 5.
