Former Brooklyn Nets head coach and 2-time MVP Steve Nash had a tough time in his married life. Steve filed for a divorce from his then-wife, Alejandra Amarilla, just a day after she gave birth to their baby.
It was rumored that the baby was not his but his Phoenix Suns teammate Jason Richardson’s. The couple had already had two kids, and this was supposed to be their third one.
Steve Nash filed for divorce in 2010, just a day after Alejandra gave birth to his son, per ESPN. Fans were surprised when the divorce news broke out as Steve was always seen going around with his wife of five years and his two kids. It was also reported that Steve Nash separated from his wife months before the baby was born.
The Phoenix Suns abruptly traded Jason Richardson to Orlando Magic in the same month. This ignited the rumors and speculations even more.
In an interview earlier, Alejandra spoke of her marriage with Nash. She stated,
