“We ain’t done, eat that” Thaddeus Young breaks Joel Embiid’s ankles with epic stepback move in Game 4

Thaddeus Young and Joel Embiid
Game 4 between Toronto Raptors vs Philadelphia 76ers was a roller coaster ride for the home side. On one hand, where the home fans rose up to their feet when Thaddeus Young snatched Joel Embiid’s ankles, the same bunch of fans were given a major scare when Fred VanVleet left the game, courtesy to a potential hip injury.
However, with the equation being simple, Pascal Siakam took the responsibility on his shoulders to secure a win for his team and to extend this first-round series until Game 5 in Philadelphia. That being said, as mentioned above, one of the most appreciated plays in Game 4 was when Thaddeus Young got the better of MVP candidate Joel Embiid.

Thaddeus Young hypes Raptors bench and fans

Talking about the spoken off play, it was towards the end of the first quarter when Raptors were looking to tie the score. VanVleet passed the ball to Thaddeus Young who had Joel Embiid all over him, until he decided to break his ankles and hamper the potential 2021-22 season MVP with a stepback jumper.
Talking about the Game 4 heroics of Pascal Siakam, even when the home side were without Fred VanVleet during the entire second half, the former ensured a win as he knocked game-high 34 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. While Young managed to register decent tally of 13 points against his name. Gary Trent Jr came up big with his tally of 24 points.

On the other hand, James Harden managed to lead the scoring board for the away side with 22 points, while Embiid had 21 points.

With the series now being 3-1, Raptors have their task getting more complicated as VanVleet could potentially and probably miss the entire series. Will we witness Joel Embiid closing out this series in his home city? Time will unravel all answers. But for now, it is indeed safe to presume that he surely would not want to watch this clip anytime soon.
