“That’s bulls***” – Kevin Garnett CONDEMNS the hate on voting Trae Young the most ‘overrated’ player

According to a survey, Atlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young has been labeled as the most overrated player by his peers. The news comes after Young and the Hawks suffered two consecutive losses against the Boston Celtics, with fans showering the young star with “overrated!” chants during the games.

However, only some agree with the survey results. NBA legends Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce defended Young, saying they don’t think he’s overrated.

“I like Trae. I don’t think he’s overrated,” Garnett said on the latest episode of Ticket & The Truth.” “You gotta go out and get it. When you get those 51s and have a nice series against the Knicks, consistency is key. I don’t think he’s played enough in the playoffs to make a full assessment.”

Pierce echoed Garnett’s sentiments, saying that Young set the bar high with his impressive playoff run in his rookie year and that he’s been leading his team to playoff appearances in the years since.

“I don’t really agree with that for the simple fact that I think a reason why is because a lot of players may be around don’t like him, his attitude, or whatever,” Pierce said. “But I don’t think he’s overrated. I just think they need to get the right pieces around him.”
