The shocking Chris Paul injury which Suns star hid from the media

Chris Paul
It was indeed worrisome to witness ‘Point God’ Chris Paul struggle so majorly in Game 7 vs Dallas Mavericks. Although Phoenix’ Suns’ 2021-22 campaign might be over, but the criticism on CP3 seems to be non-stop. However a recent report claims to have the reason just why the 37-year-old guard struggled in clutch Game 7 for his team.

Marc J. Spears revealed that Phoenix Suns star Chris Paul came out of the building with a noticeable limp after Game 7 vs Mavericks. Moreover, the injury doesn’t stop there, Paul also suffered via a quadricep injury. When asked the same to Chris Paul, he refused to make any comments upon it. Perhaps which has been the case of CP3 throughout his stint in the NBA.
Did injury affect Chris Paul’s performance in Game 7?
Suns marquee veteran Chris Paul was evidently struggling in the entire game 7 against the Mavs. The Suns star failed to make a shot until the third quarter of the game, when the Mavs were up by 40 already. Considering his string of bad games prior to Game 7, it’s fair to wonder whether Paul has been nursing this quad injury for a long time now.

The Phoenix Suns were the best regular season team who ensured that no team was able to get the better win ratio against them. Yet they have bundled out of the playoff after taking an early lead. Even int he previous NBA Finals appearance, Suns went onto secure a 2-0 lead against Milwaukee Bucks, and then failed to fetch the silverware.

With Chris Paul being at the helm of criticism, the Suns would be raring to undo their mistakes in the upcoming 2022-23 season. Moreover, with some changes made-to-order for the orange army, it will be interesting to see how CP3 and Devin Booker bounce back. Will they be able to maintain their A-class form in the Western Conference? Surely there would be millions of eye balls speculating the same.
