In his recent appearance on VLAD TV, Ball spoke his mind and criticized the Detroit Pistons for cutting his son LiAngelo Ball off the roster. LaVar labeled the Piston as “raggedy as hell” for their move to cut his son off the team.

LaVar, in his interview on VLAD TV, opened up about the bumpy journey his son LiAngelo Ball had gone through since the start of his NBA career with his time in the NBA summer G-League and mentioned his non-guaranteed contracts with the Charlotte Hornets followed by letting go by s. Ball reveals that LiAngelo Ball’s ankle injury while playing for the team may have been one of the major factors for the franchise to let him go.

LaVar Ball emphasizes the fact that after LiAngelo’s injury, he also went through a successful surgery. He mentions that his son made a full recovery and is in great shape. The center of LaVar’s criticism was the Piston’s poor management and said that this was evident enough considering their 19-time losing streak is a product of their mismanagement and poor decisions.

LaVar Ball was confident in LiAngelo’s abilities as a basketball player in the NBA and blamed the coaching staff of the Detroit Pistons for not utilizing his skills on the court. He questioned the practices of the NBA and questioned the logic behind getting talented players on board if they are going to end up back in the G-League.

The Ball brothers Lonzo and LaMelo are some of the most famous athletes in the NBA to be drafted and were in the top three picks at the time of their draft. LaVar in his interview revealed that Lonzo and LaMelo were said to have been promoted by Jay-Z’s agency Roc Nation, but due to the hype around LaMelo Ball‘s draft, Lonzo had a feeling that the agency was more inclined towards LaMelo, that is when he decided to leave Roc Nation.

LaVar on his appearance with VLAD TV shed light on the reason and said,

Lonzo was like 'Okay Roc Nation, you guys are more fixated on what's going on with Melo being the top pick but you're not doing enough for me, so now, Imma go over here with Klutch.

Eventually, due to more preferences given out to his brother LaMelo Ball, Lonzo Ball decided to leave Jay-Z’s Roc Nation and joined hands with the famous NBA agent Rich Paul and Klutch Sports.
