“They’ll be in Cancun” – NBA Twitter MERCILESSLY reacts to Andre Iguodala’s return from injury, claims he’s not the same ‘Iggy’

Andre Iguodala
Andre Iguodala has made his way back to the NBA headlines. As he’ll soon be suiting up for the Golden State Warriors again. And, the Dubs are in desperate need of a veteran like him who has a plate full of experience. As the Warriors are facing the LeBron James-led Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference Semifinals. Andre Iguodala though is sidelined since 13th March, as he fractured his left wrist against the Phoenix Suns.
The 38-year-old forward Andre Iguodala was given the green light for light drills, two-weeks ago. And, now a recent report by the Warriors claims him to be available for complete team practices by next week. That means he’ll be available to suit up for the Stephen Curry-led Golden State Warriors around the 14th of May. It’s really a piece of big good news that a 38-year-old vet is able to return after a fracture and wants to suit up with the guys.
But at the same time, it’s also very unfortunate that Andre Iguodala could be of no use to the Dubs. As he’ll be available around 14th May and that’s when Game 7 of the Western Conference Semifinals is scheduled in San Francisco, Chase Center. Also, let’s not forget that the Los Angeles-based team is leading the Lakers-Warriors showdown by 2-1 and may advance in Game 5 itself, which is scheduled for Wednesday night.

So the Dub Nation isn’t really happy with their veteran forward returning back to business. Because if the Warriors aren’t able to force a Game 7 or win the series before. Then Andre Iguodala will be of no use. Also, if things go well with his practice starting next week, the Dubs would be lucky to bring him in a bit early if their season is still on.
Twitter trolls the life out of Andre Iguodala for being unavailable

The basketball world isn’t rooting for Andre Iguodala to be back with the Dubs. As many believe his days are done and he ain’t good anymore. While some are applying maths and coming to the solution that his return would be of no help for the Warriors against the Los Angeles Lakers. You can find some of the many reactions posted here below:
Still, the Dub Nation isn’t giving up on their very, Andre Iguodala who has played an important role during the last 4 championship runs. And, Steve Kerr isn’t letting them lose hope as in his recent interview, he gave out a statement on Andre Iguodala’s return. As he said: “He’s been on the court the last few days and, you know, he hasn’t done any full-contact work but he’s getting a lot of ball handling and defensive slides and that sort of thing. So, he’s getting more and more work in each day and he’s getting closer to possibly being able to play.”
The Dub Nation should now pray for Iguodala to heal as soon as possible and get some blessings from the basketball gods to make a healthy return as soon as Game 5.
