“Tired of fake liking each other” – Jayson Tatum’s Boston Celtics CRUMBLING INSIDE, reveal NBA sources
The Boston Celtics are tired of losing with the same teammates as they stare at another playoff series loss to Miami
Jayson Tatum
The Boston Celtics find themselves 3-1 down in the Eastern Conference Finals to the Miami Heat, and NBA sources feel that Jayson Tatum and Co are getting tired of liking each other. The Celtics core has been together since 2017 when Tatum was drafted and made the conference finals in Tatum’s rookie year. Since then, it has been Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, and Al Horford at the core of their team, with frequent deep playoff runs and nothing to show for it.
Kevin O’Connor appeared on FanDuel TV speaking about the Boston Celtics, saying – “I’ve had a source tell me in the past tell me that this Celtics team feels like a group tired of fake liking each other.” This Celtics team has been eliminated in the first round of the playoffs and has made four conference finals since Jayson Tatum was drafted.
“They gotta shake things up… Jayson Tatum, he feels too passive. Fells like more of a 1-B than a 1-A,” said Kevin O’Connor. Jayson Tatum has had a torrid series against the Miami Heat and his co-star Jaylen Brown. Tatum has averaged 2.5 attempted field goals in the fourth quarter this series shooting 20% from three-point range.

Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics win game 4 on the road in hopes to pull off an impossible comeback
After going down 0-3, the Boston Celtics had many messages for the Miami Heat saying, ‘Don’t let us win one game,’ and they did last night. The Celtics picked up a 116-99 win in Miami to take the series back to Boston as Tatum led the scoring with 33 points and eleven of them coming in the fourth quarter. This was his best game of the series, and fans got a glimpse of what the Celtics actually are compared to their timid performances in the first three games.
Jayson Tatum’s biggest criticisms have come from fans and experts on his ability in big moments, which has been seen on numerous occasions, as seen in the 2022 Finals. Despite making the conference Finals four times since 2017, Tatum has only been able to make it to the finals once and was a Jimmy Butler three-pointer away from being eliminated again.
This Celtics team seems to have reached its breaking point as they are not able to translate their regular season success into playoff progress. Despite winning game 4, the odds of Boston winning the series are pretty low as no team has ever come back from 3-0 down, and they have to go back to Miami in hopes to keep the series alive. The Boston Celtics have a huge decision to make this offseason in terms of going forward with a team that cannot get over the hump or take a shot at a rebuild.
