Scottie Pippen might rank as one of the best Jordan haters there is as he went on DieHardCBfans yesterday to throw shade at Jordan Yet again which led to fans on Twitter and Trae Young to troll Pippen.

Scottie Pippen went on to say: “I don’t believe there’s a great player, cause our game was a team game and one player can’t do it ā€¦ I’ve seen Michael Jordan play before I came to play with bulls ā€¦ He’s a horrible player and he was horrible to play with.”

Although there’s some truth to his statement as Michael Jordan did not win any championships before Scottie Pippen joined the Chicago Bulls in 1987, but he was in no way a terrible player as he averaged 28.2 points and was named NBA All-Star for his first NBA season before Scottie’s arrival in Chicago.

The post-retirement relationship between Jordan and Scottie Pippen started declining in a downward spiral after Pippen had a problem with The Last Dance documentary about Michael Jordan. He didn’t like seeing Michael Jordan glorified in a way that didn’t also prop up his teammates. Pippen felt like he didn’t get enough credit for his contributions to the Bulls’ dominance back then. Their relationship also took a hit when news broke out that Larsa Pippen (Scottie’s ex-wife) and Jordan’s son Marcus were allegedly dating.

The comments made by Pippen towards Jordan led Trae Young to believe that the video was AI generated and thought it was fake at first until well everyone catched on that Scottie was just hating Jordan again! Trae Young on Twitter tweeted- “I thought this was AI generated the way he was hatin so hardā€¦”.

The one-sided BEEF between the legendary DUO

The relationship between Mike and Scottie had always looked like a happy marriage until recently when several incidents and comments made by Scottie ruined the happily ever after marriage of the duo.

Well if you look at it things weren’t always bitter between Jordan and Pippen, the first person Jordan mentioned in his 2009 Hall of Fame induction speech was Scottie Pippens and it was Michael who presented Scottie to the Hall Of Fame in 2010. Scottie when he worked for ESPN always had his friend’s back whenever the GOAT debate was brought up and MIke always had high praises for him given the chance.

Their beef started when the ESPN docu-series The Last Dance dropped on Netflix back in 2020. Pippen had a problem with how Jordan was portrayed in the series making the documentary all about one player and not the team. He and the other Bulls didn’t like how players like Steve Kerr, Luo Deng and Tony Kukoc had few mentions and appearances even though they were one of the most important players in the dynasty.

Scottie’s portrayal in the series also didn’t help either where he was shown as a selfish player who delayed surgery for a contract extension and this was all when Jordan was earning 33 million a year in contrast to Pippen who was earning only 2.7 million a year. Scottie’s performance in the Finals where he guarded Magic which turned the series around was completely overshadowed by Jordan’s highlights and narratives.

Their beef took a turn for the worse when Scottie in 2021 released his own auto-biography titled UNGUARDED where he revealed Jordan’s gambling addiction and called him out as a bully. Pippen in his book said quoted; “We didn’t win six championships because he was tough with guys .. we won in spite of his bullying

The relationship between his ex-wife and Jordan’s added insult to injury as the two hadn’t exchanged words yet with Michael remaining completely silent about the situation.
