Trae Young is one of the best up-and-coming stars in the NBA at the moment. The player has earned himself the respect of several top-tier players in the league and other celebrities as well. From being judged by his thin frame to becoming a threat to every position that guards him, he has been unstoppable for the Atlanta Hawks team.
The Hawks took on the New Orleans Pelicans last night winning the game in overtime. The Hawks had a three-point lead concluding the game 124-121. NOLA had a rocky second quarter which shifted them off course for a moment before picking up pace during the final minutes. Brandon Ingram missed a last-second jumper which sent the game to OT.
During overtime, Trae Young had several moments that helped Atlanta keep themselves leveled above deep waters. During one particular play, Clint Capela jammed the ball for two points while the point guard lobbed the ball to him. After gaining the bucket, a seemingly hyped-up Trae accidentally bumped into Pelicans power forward Zion Williamson.
Williamson barely moved an inch while this incident took place and after that Young tried to size up against the big man. The final moments of the game had both teams exchanging shots tying the score on several occasions. The Hawks had a few good defensive plays which helped them retain the lead. Dejonte Murray, Trae young and Clint Capela mainly led the offense which eventually won the game.

Trae Young has proven himself as an elite scorer of the ball and for the last couple of seasons, he has been able to lead the Hawks into the playoffs. He is currently averaging 28.2 points, 3.3 rebounds and 9.4 assists per game this season and the team is headed in a fairly good direction under his leadership.
The 24-year-old put up 34 points and dished out 10 assists during their win against the Pelicans. He also recorded an insane cross-court pass to John Collins for the three. Despite having a short competitive moment with Zion, the rival hugged it out on the court following the end of the game. Fans had some hilarious words to give out on Twitter.
