Dwyane Wade is undoubtedly one of the finest players ever to touch a basketball. If it wasn’t for his career-altering injuries, he would have still been balling out in the league and he himself has claimed this. In just his third year he bagged the FMVP award while leading the Miami Heat to a championship run. But still, not everyone understands his greatness and he’s often doubted without given the correct recognition and respect.
Recently, the former Boston Celtics star, Jeff Teague disrespected Dwyane Wade as he picked James Harden for him. Jeff has been doing a lot of talking these days and this time he even presented a foolish reason for his take. The former Celtics star quoted: “When James was James, he was giving you 38 and 11. Prime D Wade get you 36 and 5. And then James had years where he averaged 34, 36. Like, that’s kinda cr*zy.”
Further, making the clown statement he added: “But I think James Harden is up there. He just doesn’t have the rings to show it. So they like put him down a tier or whatever but rings don’t matter to me when I say somebody hoopin’. When I go to the park, I see a little kid playing like James Harden. I don’t really see little kids playing like D Wade. I mean, not now.”
His reason was as senseless as his take. And, the basketball world has already crowned him with the tag of a “CLOWN.” Dwyane Wade will be inducted into the HOF next week and even Harden is in the same club but there’s absolutely no comparison between them. Flash was a superstar since his first day and one of the best shooting guards in the league during his playing time. He even holds a lot of respect for The Beard and has often shown it to the world.
But Wade had a deeper offensive bag that helped him get across and score while clowning the defenders. Even James Harden is very skilled and one of the best active guards and no disrespect to him. But he lives by the free throw line and is nowhere near Wade in any conversation be it skills or the overall impact they have had on basketball.

The fans are clowning the life out of Jeff Teague for his foolish take. He went on to say rings don’t matter to him and then picked Harden over Dwyane because that’s what he see the Kids doing in the park.

This isn’t the first time Dwyane Wade has been disrespected. But little does he care about such takes. His impact on the league would always be remembered. James Harden though is still in the league and even catch up to the levels of D-Wade. But for that, he’ll have to win some championships and ball out once the playoffs began while trying to play some good defence.
