“Unlike you little n***a, I’m a grown ass man” – LeBron James FINALLY RESPONDS to Dillon Brooks’ jibes

Lebron James and the Los Angeles Lakers enter the second round of the postseason after two upsetting seasons. The Lakers and the Memphis Grizzlies had a lot going on during the series. Numerous alterations and trash talk had fans even more excited and entertained for each game. The series was followed by the fans flooding comments on the Grizzlies’ loss.

The Lakers fans praised LeBron James following his duel with Dillon Brooks during the series. Though James kept his cool, focusing on the series rather than responding back to his opponent’s comments. James averaged 22 points, 11 rebounds, and 5 assists versus the Grizzlies. Not only that but James’ clutch performance in game 4, gave the Lakers a 3-1 lead.

The reaction to this series was more centered on the Grizzlies losing than the Lakers advancing to the next round. Memphis was among the favorites to be seen playing in the Conference Semi-Finals, though that doesn’t seem to be the case anymore. The Lakers will now wait till Sunday, as the Kings will take on the Warriors in Game 7, and the winner will play the Lakers in the next round. Waiting patiently for his opponent, LeBron had to respond back to the comments against him.

James went over Instagram as well as Twitter to let everyone know his dominance. King James faced a lot of criticism from the Grizzlies fans as he went up against Brooks. With Memphis exiting the series after a 40-point loss, James had to establish the threat that the Lakers are bringing into the playoffs. LeBron even tweeted the lyrics of Jay Z’s song, ‘Trouble’. While on Instagram, he posted “If you ever see me fighting in the forest with a Grizzly bear, HELP THE BEAR ?”. This was to throw shade at Dillon Brooks as well as the narrative of Brooks ‘poking the bear’.

LeBron James and the Lakers are a real threat going ahead in the Playoffs

Coming into this postseason, James and the Lakers weren’t the favorites to win the West. Though after the first round, the team seems to have a new look to their game. After a dominating victory over Memphis, the boys in purple and gold are ready to go to the next level. James and company will have enough time to rest, as their opponent is yet to be decided.

This is the second time LeBron James has won the first round wearing the Lakers jersey. The last two seasons had been rough for the team, as after numerous adjustments and changes, there didn’t seem to be any improvement.

Now with players sticking to their roles, the Lakers have organized their game a lot more. It will be interesting to see where James and the boys land by the end of this postseason.
