The NFL’s Super Bowl LVIII Half-Time Show is one of the most watched performances on national television. Tonight, the stage was set for performances from multiple Grammy Award-winning artist Usher. He was joined on stage by another Grammy Award-winning artist Alicia Keys. But towards the end of the performance, Usher and Keys did something that did not sit well with a couple of NBA veterans.
During the performance when both Usher and Alicia Keys are on the stage, Usher moves behind Keys and hugs her from behind, holding the hug for a few seconds. This brought out some humorous trolls from former NBA All-Star Gilbert Arenas, who said on his official Twitter channel;
Swizz Beatz after Usher Super Bowl halftime show
Arenas added a short video of a group of people trying to save someone from getting beaten by another person. In another tweet, former NBA Champion and current ESPN Analyst Kendrick Perkins added his two cents with a Tweet saying;
Swizz Beats right now.
Perkins adds a picture of him staring closely into the screen with sunglasses down from his eyes. These two trolls from these former NBA players have set the internet on fire. Many fans have since replied to these tweets.
The reason for the troll is that Alicia Keys is married to Grammy Award-winning musician Swizz Beats. Usher who is still not married, was at the center of the troll as he was hugging a married woman in a romantic posture, live, in front of the whole world.
Fans couldn’t hold themselves back once the NBA players tweeted on Super Bowl performance
As soon as Kendrick Perkins’ tweet went up on Twitter, basketball fans could not hold themselves back at the troll. Then a few minutes later Gilbert Arenas’ trolling tweet was posted. The combination led fans to comment on their open trolls with hilarious responses.
Some couldn’t stop themselves from rolling on the floor after these former players tweeted what they felt. Some could not help but think in disgust about what happened between Usher and Alicia Keys. Check out some of their reactions attached below;
Whatever everyone felt, Usher and Alicia Keys were friends. Also, pretty much every move done on stage was choreographed and double-checked for everyone’s approval. Even then, it was a source of humor for many.
