Why is Vanessa Bryant suing LA county
In the federal civil lawsuit, Vanessa Bryant claimed that Los Angeles County had violated their privacy and caused them emotional distress by failing to properly control the release of images that, according to witness testimony, not only show the victims’ charred corpses but also the crash site of the victims’ helicopter.
Bryant described her conversation with Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva after the accident, during which she learned that her husband and daughter had perished. When reliving the incidents, she infrequently started to weep.
