Vernon Maxwell wanted to stab Hakeem Olajuwon to death after getting slapped
Vernon Maxwell revealing how Hakeem Olajuwon really was before converting into Muslim said: “When he was not a Muslim he was tough to deal with… He slapped the sh*t out of me. He walked up on me in Seattle. You know that long as* walk from court to locker room in Seattle. We got a long as* walk back to locker room from the court at halftime. I am mad as hell I prolly got four or five points, I am spitting on the floor while I am walking. He walking behind me. I am like ‘This some bullsh*t man you all motherfu*kers man get up that goddamn rock…’ He told me to be a professional and I said ‘Dream Fu*k you man I don’t wanna listen that’… so he came in the locker room… So he came to me in the locker room, I looked up and said Go Ahead and he slapped the sh*t out of me and I was knocked out on the chair.”
Further, Vernon Maxwell mentioning what he did after getting slapped that hard by some strong hands of Olajuwon quoted: “I jumped up grabbed my chair and folded it at that motherf*cker. Busted the glass in all of the damn locker room. Everybody running out and police coming in with their guns drawn and are like ‘Max please put it down’ I was like Oh lord they got guns out on me at a professional halftime in a professional game… I picked up a big piece of glass and I was gonna chase Dream and stab the sh*t out of him… but that’s how he was before.”
Both of them were a complete menace back in the days. But there onwards things for them changed and Houston Rockets outshined the league. Vernon though was still a tough guy in the league and kept making headlines for some unwanted business as he wasn’t the one to hold back on anyone and even MJ made it to that list of his.
