Kamala Harris
The entire NBA Defending champions Golden State Warriors and their superstar Stephen Curry met president Joe Biden and Vice-president Kamala Harris after an invitation from the White House. All the members of the winning team from last year’s championship run were present in the house. However, little did anyone know that Harris herself was a die-hard fan of the Dub Nation.
When the vice president took the podium, she expressed her joy in meeting her favorite team in person. “I have been a Warriors fan all my life,” Harris said. “This team has been a constant source of joy and pride, for me and for so many of us. Doug (her husband) and I, the first second gentleman of the United States, together with our family who are here, have watched this team on television and in person,” she added.
However, the next moment, the fan inside the Indian-origin vice-president awoke and she shared a personal story about the playoff game in Oakland. “I have a fond memory of a particular playoff game in Oakland at Oracle,” Harris said. “So, we were headed to the game but stuck in stand-still traffic. We were worried that we were going to miss the tipoff,” the joyful second in command added.
Harris added that although she was the Attorney General of California, she jumped into the BART, so she could watch the tip-off. “I decided to jump out of the car… and take BART instead. Got on a jam-packed train with all the other fans,” she said. Moreover, to her surprise, she recalled, that she caught her husband who is a Lakers fan cheering for the Dubs. “It was a glorious day, and I even caught my Lakers fan husband cheering them on,” she added.

However, President did not spare Kerr and had some hilarious remarks about the legendary coach. “And, by the way, he’s running out of fingers,” remarked Biden. Bending forwards as if burdened by the weight, the Commander-In-Chief remarked, “You all see the size of those rings? He has to walk around like this.”
He also shared a laugh with Finals MVP Stephen Curry about his MVP award and 4 titles in 6 NBA Finals. “Four NBA titles, six finals, and — in the last eight seasons. That ain’t bad, man,” said the President. “Steph, earning your first Finals MVP award. Finals. That’s not bad, man. How’s it feel compared to all those other MVPs?” he asked.

We have two jerseys, a number 46 and a number 49…maybe find it maybe on the wall in the Oval Office or in your office,” said Curry. “We’ll come back, hopefully, we’ll be able to come back and check and see if it’s up there,” he added.
Steve Kerr, who has expressed his frustration over gun violence and laws regarding them, said that he had a fruitful conversation with the administration about gun safety and creating a safe environment in the country. “We learned a lot about what this administration is doing to help create a safer environment in our country. That is something that is very close to my heart,” Kerr said.
