During Game 3 of the first-round series between the Miami Heat and the Milwaukee Bucks, Victor Oladipo sustained a severe knee injury that left his teammates and fans in shock. The shooting guard, who had scored eight points in 19 minutes of play, was seen sitting on the court while holding his left knee in pain.
The injury was later confirmed by Shams Charania of The Athletic, who reported that Oladipo had torn his patellar tendon in his left knee. This means that Oladipo will not be able to participate in the remaining playoffs, and the duration of his absence next season is currently unknown.
Miami’s head coach Erik Spoelstra was emotional when he spoke about Oladipo’s injury after the game. “I feel like throwing up right now,” he said, via Tim Reynolds of Associated Press. “But I don’t know what the prognosis is. I’m going to stay positive, and we’ll just see what happens after we scan him tomorrow.”
Heat Win Game 3, Take 2-1 Series Lead

Despite the devastating injury to Oladipo, the Miami Heat managed to win Game 3 of their first-round series against the Milwaukee Bucks. The Heat played with intensity and purpose, putting on an impressive offensive display and holding the Bucks to just 99 points.
Jimmy Butler led the way for the Heat, scoring 30 points, grabbing 5 rebounds, and dishing out 4 assists. Goran Dragic had a great game off the bench, scoring 15 points and adding 7 assists. Bam Adebayo also played well, finishing with 12 points, 11 rebounds, and 5 assists.
Milwaukee, on the other hand, playing without Giannis Antetokounmpo struggled to find their rhythm throughout the game. Khris Middleton had a quiet night, finishing with just 23 points, while Bobby Portis struggled to get going, finishing with 9 points.
With the win, the Heat now hold a 2-1 series lead over the Bucks. However, the injury to Oladipo will undoubtedly be a major factor in the rest of the series. The Heat will need to find a way to replace Oladipo’s production and energy, while the Bucks will look to take advantage of the injury and tie the series in Game 4.
