The San Antonio Spurs lost against the LA Lakers, but it was yet another milestone for the French sensation Victor Wembanyama, who just cannot stop grabbing the headlines.

With back-to-back 5-steal and 5-block games, Spurs’ Victor Wembanyama joined Michael Jordan as one of the few players to reach this milestone. But the star wasn’t the happiest given their result.

I wonder if [Jordan] did it in wins, not losses. To me, it's secondary… As of today, I can't be satisfied with a loss.

And it sure was a game of both halves with each team edging the other every second.

But the praise didn’t stop coming, as LeBron James also praised the young phenom.

That kid is special!!

While the game didn’t go as planned for the rookie, it just summed up the season the San Antonio Spurs are having. 11 wins and 46 losses have been quite a rough record for the men in black and white.

While almost all responsibilities are bestowed upon the rookie, he has taken every chance to prove that the hype is real. As much as he loves setting new names in the history books of the NBA, for him, the main aspect of getting wins is what he prefers to celebrate moving forward.

Victor Wembanyama reaches yet another milestone

Victor Wembanyama was yet again the center of the San Antonio Spurs’ attention after another stellar performance, which keeps getting better and better, showcasing how much of a talent he is.

In 31 minutes, he was able to register 27 points, 10 rebounds, and 8 assists as he shone for his team. But it wasn’t enough to stop the offensive prowess of a returning LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers.

The game also saw Wemby record back-to-back five blocks and five steals, now joining Michael Jordan in that elusive category. While the win would have topped off a great night for Wemby, it just shows and continues to do so how much talent the NBA has in its hands.

Even just at 20, the raw talent seems to get better with every game, and winning that ROTY can be a huge possibility at the end of the season.
