Clueless Victor Wembanyama WOKE UP to Britney Spears’ ‘slap report’ hours later, finally breaks silence on recent controversy

In a confusing affair of events, Victor Wembanyama finally responds to the Britney Spears situation. A video has surfaced on Twitter which shows Victor’s point of view of the situation and how someone “grabbed him from behind”. Although Wembanyama accepted that he got to know about the person’s identity, it was only after returning to the hotel after a few hours.

According to Victor Wembanyama, he had no idea it was Britney Spears and was walking to a restaurant with his security. He added,“I just know that security pushed her away, I don’t know with how much force. I didn’t stop to look, I kept walking.”

Regardless, according to reports, the security officials later went to Britney Spears’ table and apologised “You understand how it is when you’re being swarmed by fans.” She might have accepted the apology then but later filed a police report against the San Antonio Spurs security director who pushed her in the face at a Las Vegas restaurant.

Sam Asghari, the husband of Britney Spears, reacted to the incident. In an Instagram post, criticising the security officials, he writes, “I hope the man in question learns a lesson and changes his disregard for women.” Britney too, took to Instagram, expressing her thoughts on the incident and how she didn’t “grab him from behind. She wrote, “I am aware of the player’s statement where he mentions ‘I grabbed him from behind’ but I tapped him on the shoulder.” She also mentioned how she is always swarmed by fans but her security never reacts the way Spurs’ security did.”

Everyone on the internet was either laughing or was disgusted by the reaction Wembanyama showed and how it lacked empathy towards the person, regardless of her stature.

The Spurs sure need to train their new kid on how to handle the press as some fans react to this video by saying that he scoffed on the situation and didn’t even try to apologise himself. In a day and age of everyone getting offended by everything, Spurs sure do need to teach the No. 1 overall pick to learn how to deal with situations like these, especially in America.
