After Draymond Green brutally man-handled Memphis Grizzlies at FedExForum in Game 1, the home team seemed to be playing with top-intensity since the initial minutes. In the process they targeted the veteran defender primarily as he was sent into the locker room within the first quarter after a nasty elbow blow. While heading out of the game, Green surely showed how much he loved the home fans.
To those who missed out, Draymond Green showed both his middle fingers to the Memphis crowd, displaying just how this modern-day rivalry has been turning out. Given the physical reputation of this Warriors star, Memphis players surely showcased how physical they too can be. Will come Green come out with his bag of tricks? That is what, remains to be seen.

The Grizzlies vowed to be physical in Tuesday’s game, and that was clear right from the start. Warriors guard Gary Payton II also headed to the locker room in the first quarter after a hard foul from Dillon Brooks. Perhaps Draymond Green is not happy with how physical (and dirty?) the Grizzlies have been and he’s just venting out his anger?
Draymond Green wouldn’t surely want to leave his team out in the open in Game 2 as well. So for sure, he needs to control his emotions this time around.
It is also guaranteed that Grene will be penalized for his action as last that we could recall, Kyrie Irving was fined $50,000 for showing his middle finger to the Boston Celtics crowd. That being said, the Grizzlies fan base is surely to be behind Draymond Green throughout the Game 2 showdown, will we see more of actions from the Golden State Warriors marquee? Remains to be seen.
But for now, as things go into halftime, it is home team who lead by 5-points. Will we once again witness the Golden State Warriors making a strong comeback in the second quarter? Time will unravel all answers.
