“Go to SLEEP” Warriors star Draymond Green ultimate Trash-talk against Nikola Jokic during Game 1

Draymond Green

Warriors’ star forward Draymond Green proved through his performance that, why he is called the defensive pillar of the Golden State when they beat the Denver Nuggets by 107-123 during game 1 on Saturday night.

It was a very emotional moment for the whole dub nation as it was after two and a half years that their trio of Green, Curry, and Thompson were finally together in the postseason games. Stephen Curry comes back from his foot injury but didn’t make much effort in the game and even Klay Thompson wasn’t that effective but their young gun Jordan Poole took the control of the game with his senior Draymond Green.

Green and Poole were enough to bring the Nuggets on their knees, where Jordan led the Warriors with his 30 points performance in his debut playoffs, he made 9 of 13 from the field goal and was 5 of 7 from behind the arc. Besides him, the former DOPY was on a full roll and led the defense with his style. Although he was the second-leading scorer he didn’t let the defense get loss, he blocked the Nuggets’ three-time and grabbed 5 defensive rebounds out of 9 total rebounds.

We all know how big trash talker Draymond Green is and whenever he gets a bigger stage to perform, he not only exhausts his opponents physically but also mentally. He always tries to get under the skin of the player who tries to stop him from scoring or become a problem for him. When only 1:47 minutes were remaining in the game, Green scored a three-pointer on Jokic which shocked the whole arena as Green hardly tries to shoot 3.

After this successful attempt, the three-time NBA champion was seen talking some harsh words to Joker. Although the Nuggets’ big man didn’t react, it’s sure that he was frustrated by the Warriors’ forward as he was all-around him during the whole game.

Safe to say, Green is undersized but through his defensive IQ he didn’t let the reigning MVP open up in the game because of which Jokic scored only 25 points which were not enough to beat the Warriors
