“Don’t care if it’s Golf or NBA” Warriors star Stephen Curry goes ‘night night’ after nailing dagger on green course
Stephen Curry
Stephen Curry, a member of the Golden State Warriors, returns to work after earning his first-ever Finals MVP award and his fourth NBA title. Naturally, he achieved so by returning to the field and performing at his best. The Dubs star competed this weekend at the 2022 American Century Championship at Edgewood Tahoe South, on the golf course rather of the hardwood. And it appears that he also brought his long-range shooting skills.
Although the current NBA Finals MVP participated in a celebrity golf competition, it was clear that he was still very much focused on basketball, his area of greatest strength. Naturally, Curry had a basketball hoop placed right there on the golf course. The Warriors talisman first showed off a piece of his handles before taking a step-back three from deep and draining it. He then performed his trademark celebration-“Night-Night”.
Stephen Curry and his journey to becoming the GOAT shooter.
Stephen Curry is not simply the best shooter ever as it’s time to finally refer to him as one of the greatest basketball players ever after winning his first Finals MVP and his first NBA title. Curry is the only basketball player in history to have made more 3-pointers and to have gotten the ability to put the ball in the hoop appear simple. Long before June 17th, when Curry scored 34 points and the Warriors defeated the Boston Celtics 103-90 to win their fourth championship in eight years, Curry’s place in the Basketball Hall of Fame was already cemented and the title hardened it more.
Curry is an eight-time All-Star, a two-time unanimous NBA MVP, a two-time scoring champion, All-Star Game MVP, and, most recently, a four-time NBA champion and a unanimous NBA Finals MVP. The Warriors made little attempt to disguise their excitement on the night Curry was selected in 2009, after six guys who had a combined total of zero NBA titles heard their names called before him. He then went on to accomplish greatness which many players in his draft class never could.
Stephen Curry’s passion of golf is well known, and he is known for approaching the game with the same intensity and focus that helped him become a star on the basketball court. Many people, including the man himself, have even questioned whether he may have achieved more success as a golfer if he had chosen a different route. If Steph’s golf swing is even half as excellent as his shooting stroke, he may end up playing on professional golf courses after his playing career.
This past season, Steph hit this celebration frequently, and it’s really gaining a lot of attention. Athletes from many sports have been engaging in it over the past month or two, and it has become rather popular. The 34-year-old Warriors great will begin his 14th season of competition, but at this point, the former back-to-back league MVP shows no signs of slowing down. Golden State is projected to be a contender once more in 2022–2023 as Stephen Curry and company attempt to win their fifth title in as many years.
